Hello RCPS Families!
We can not wait to have our students back in the building! Here are a couple of things to consider for tomorrow's Meet the Teacher.
  • All parents will need to fill out a transportation form (BRIGHT PINK PAPER given to you by the teacher) and stop by the transportation tables. This form designates if your child will be a car rider, bus rider, or both. This year, we will have a station at the front office for students whose primary form of transportation is car rider only. There will be a station at the trophy cases at the bottom of the stairs for students whose primary mode of transportation is by bus. 
  • There will be a station near the front office for parents who have been unsuccessful in updating their information in Infinite Campus. A representative from the county office will be available to help reset passwords. You will need to be able to access your working email.
  • Every student will be given 2 car rider tags (even if your student's primary form of transportation is bus). Stop by the car rider table at the front office. If this tag is not visible in your vehicle, you will be asked to park and come inside with your license to check out your student.
  • The Rabun County Health Department will be set up in the gym from 9 am - 5 pm to complete needed immunizations and 3300 forms (eye, ear, dental screenings).  Any RCS student grades PK-12 who is in need of either, are welcome and encouraged to come to the primary school!
  • Scouting America will also have an informational booth set up in the gym.
  • For the first day of school, please put your student's name inside their backpack/lunch box...just in case they lose it!
